When it comes to success habits the 3 pillars to success, habits take at least anywhere from 25 to 50 days to become a automated routine. This means that you need to ensure that you invest your time to practice your new habit. To ensure that you complete the full 25 to 50 days - you need to identify any potential stumbling blocks that may cause you to want to skip a day.
Knowing what might interfere in your daily habit practice - ensures that you can put a plan to overcome it. If you are committed to creating the new success habit and understand why it is important to your overall development - then you will be more able to overcome stumbling blocks and ensure that you practice your new habit every day until it becomes an automated enjoyable routine.
Successful Habit Formation Rule number 5 is reward. When you set out to create a new success habit - you will plan out on how you are going to achieve it, and what your life will look like once that happens. In this process of planning - don't forget to build in a reward system. Make it something that you really want and value. It doesn't have to be big, but it does have to be important to you. By planning a reward when you have created your new habit - you will be more emotionally invested in creating the habit as you seek to reward yourself at the end of the 25 to 50 days.
Write down your reward or get a picture of it and put it in a place where you will see it every day. This will reinforce the desire to succeed and strengthen your motivation to achieve your goal and acquire your new success habit. Now, this is a quick rundown of these 5 rules, but by using these five rules that I just went over - you will be creating a positive mental attitude towards creating a new success habit. Don't try to create too many new habits all at once. It is simpler and more realistic to create one new habit at a time especially if this is your first time doing this.

If you have ever decided that you want to achieve a goal, then you know that it takes work. You'll also probably have discovered that you are the cause of the success or failure. In fact, the real factor behind your success or failure in achieving goals is actually what lies within your sub-conscious mind. If you want to achieve anything, then you have to know yourself. You need self-knowledge and a good level of personal mastery.
When you are creating your plan for achieving a goal or a new success habit - you need to start with yourself. It is important that you look at your life as it is now. How it makes you feel? What are your strengths and weaknesses? What bad habits you have that work against you and that stops you from making progress? You are able to change your outlook on life and take a new approach to it. It can help with removing old negative beliefs and instead becoming positive and confident for yourself. Self-knowledge allows you to create positive change in your life. You are able to think more clearly and creatively. You embrace personal responsibility - acknowledging that you are the master of your own destiny. Your behavior will become more proactive instead of reactive.
Other benefits of developing a deeper knowledge of yourself are:
- Less stress because you are more flexible in your outlook and attitude and you are able to accept and deal with change.
- Better decision making skills as you understand the importance of planning and goal setting.
- Your emotional intelligence grows as you have greater self-knowledge and can master your emotions simply because you understand them.
- Since you know yourself you can identify the origins of bad habits and you will know how to change them and integrate new successful habits.
Knowing of yourself or mastering your personal psychology gives you all these powers and abilities. By introspection and gaining a deeper self-knowledge - you will gain personal mastery. Success habits are important factors in creating and achieving goals.
