Over Come Negative Thinking
Hi, I’m Luis Garcia and let me ask you something. Do you often think and ask yourself questions like? How do you over come negative thinking? Do what we believe and think projects through to how we live our lives? Are our misfortunes created by fate or by chance and do we not have any saying in the matter? Does the way we think alter and create our future? What are the results of being a negative thinker versus an optimistic thinker? What is mental programming and what are its benefits?
And, how can creating a productive lifestyle help to succeed in life? These are profound questions that I will talk about and cover in this very short video as my way of sharing my insights and to bring clarity so that you can make accurate choices to improve your life. So, stay tuned.
So on with today’s topic and I will start by asking a very profound question which is “Do what we believe and think project through to how we live our lives?” So, the first answer is, yes, what we believe and think will project through to how we live our lives and this affects our lives.
Too many people don’t believe this. They often attribute their misfortunes to fate or to chance. While there are some elements of this within our lives, however, how we think can alter our future and so there is power within us to create our lives and that is great news. However, the opposite is just as true.
Your Thoughts Are A Reflection Of Your Life
If we think that we have no saying in creating our lives, then our lives will be based upon misfortunes that will seem like it's coming from fate or by chance most of the time. In this version, most of our choices will be made based upon negative thoughts that exist on an unconscious level; unconscious negative choices that lead to an unsatisfied life.
Although these choices are being made on an unconscious level, these choices are still being made by you which means that you are always creating your life. It’s just such choices are being made on an unconscious level and because of this, you just don’t know that you just don’t know, and this is what makes it seems that such misfortunes are coming from fate or from chance but it is coming from you as such choices are being made on an unconscious level. It’s a catch 22 I know, but you have to gather data which require you to practice being psychologically mindful of your thoughts to notice that this is what is happening.
Choices Are Being Made On An Unconscious Level
So it is really you choosing these negative choices you just don’t see how you are choosing them. To begin to change this for yourself you have to look at your level of negative thinking that lies within your mind and find where they affect your life so that you can begin to understand your negative patterns and reversion engineer them.
One of the many patterns that you should be aware of if you are a negative thinking, person is that you won’t see solutions where they exist to make your life better. You will knock down any solution that will come your way. One of the reasons why you do this is because one of the patterns is that your negative thoughts will force you to think that good things are not possible for you since you are so used to living a negative lifestyle. Your familiarity with living a negative life over-rides the idea that good things can happen for you. On the other hand, when you keep an optimistic outlook, every situation and creative idea has the potential to become a solution that leads to a better quality of life.
These scenarios of positive and negative thinking play out for people over and over. Optimistic people advance and progress further whereas negative people stay in one place or even fall behind suffering and end up living a life that is painful and unsatisfying.
Also the way you identify yourself creates this familiarity to where you only feel comfortable surrounding yourself with like-minded people just because of the sense of familiarity. You will flock to people who share the same mental attitude. Negativity will attract negative thinkers and optimistic people will attract positive and optimistic thinkers.
Optimistic People Advance
When you get a group of optimistic thinkers together who all are open to many ideas and solutions, the possibilities are endless. A group of negative thinkers, on the other hand, will simply find more excuses for why their lives aren’t working for them and never become proactive in creating the life that they want. Negative thinkers will also recruit as many people as possible to think negatively as their means to huddle up, validate, and revel on each other’s injustices. This does not lead anywhere.
Not every idea that optimistic people come up with will work. It would be wrong to state that they have all the answers. It’s just they are willing to try anything and evaluate what works and put in the effort to what needs improvement. These are skillset that negative people don’t have and it’s a skill set that is needed in order to progress further in life.
But rather negative people or negative thinkers will be quick to abandon those ideas that aren’t working and give up in the process and dwell on failure and remain in a state of protesting about it. This is the difference between the two mindsets. Learn to identify the difference so that you can put it into perspective for yourself. This would help to move further along the process.
The good news is that negative thinkers can turn their situations around because anyone can learn to train their mind to a mind that operates for success. The first step is that they have to admit that they have a problem. Then after that, they have to learn how to psychologically reflect on what they were doing wrong and learn how to counteract the negative thought patterns and acquirer successful thought patterns. So, in order words, success it teachable and you can learn it.
In reality, negativity is a bad habit. It’s easy to get caught up in it due to all the negativity that exists in the world. News stories, friends, even parents can all be contributors to negativity. So, what I’m saying is, don’t beat yourself up by hearing this message, more so if you find yourself being a negative thinker. As long as you take steps to reverse it and change it, you can live a better life going forward.
Your family, friends, and colleagues will appreciate the new you, and with the successful results that you will get in your life, you too will appreciate the new you. Now, the process will take some time, but it will pay dividends for the rest of your life when you get there. So, how do we get there? How do you begin to change your negative thinking patterns to live a successful and happier life? Well, let’s talk about mental programming because it is a tool that can begin help.
To make this easy your mind is made up of two components; the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. The conscious mind controls everything that you are aware of which can be compared to the tip of an iceberg as it is only a fraction of the mind. The subconscious mind is the largest part of the mind which can be compared to the bottom yet larger part of the iceberg that is hidden from view. Think of it like this, your conscious mind makes up 5% of your mind and your subconscious mind makes up 95% of your over-all mind.
Your subconscious mind stores all information that comes from your memories, and from your talents, gifts, and creative abilities. It stores the information from your genetic DNA code, and it governs your sleep state, and how the chemicals in your body process. It also acts as the container that stores all your feelings and experiences as well as your morals, beliefs, your personal values, the makeup of your personality, and the creative power that shines through your personality and so much more. The subconscious mind also acts like a recording device that eventually produces behavior based on the information it records.
How Can Mental Programming Help You Over Come Negative Thinking?
Whatever information was told to you as a young child and if the information was repeated, and if you end up believing the information, your subconscious mind will have accepted that as true. As soon as you are convinced of the information, your subconscious mind accepts things as truths unless it is told otherwise. Once this happens a program has been set in place and this program will express itself as a habit. Habits once formed it becomes ingrained as they are programmed into your subconscious mind and the habit will express itself automatically once they are triggered. This is the same for phobias and any kind of fear.
Think of this like your computer, as soon as you download a software into your computer, the information to the software is set in place and now the computer will run the program and the programs function when prompted too. The same thing happens for the human mind. So be very careful of the things you tell yourself and end up choosing to believe in.
With mindful practice and with conscious intention, you can change these programs. You can change the perception of traumatic events from the past to see them with an adult attitude and a wiser understanding of the given situation and thereby allow the impact of the memory to be lessened or completely altered and changed. When you develop this ability and you start to see results, you will then realize that you do have a saying and not everything is about fate or chance.
As you start to change the memories of the past, you also can change your current outcomes and engineer a successful future. As a scientist collecting data for proof, start with changing your bad habits so that you can prove to yourself the science of the mind. Once you prove the science that exists behind our so call mysterious mind, you will begin to understand the mechanics of the mind and also start to administrate and direct it consciously. This is personal power.
Bad habits such as nail biting and smoking can all be removed through a variety of mental programming methods. Meditation through the use of audio recordings can be used. Alternative coaching can provide greater support and resources to learning how to administrate your conscious and subconscious mind to work for you and live a better quality of life for yourself.
Phobias and fears can be confronted and removed. You can either do it by yourself by using self-help methods or choose the support of those who are in the field of personal development. You can seek out cognitive behavioral coaches, personal development life coaches, yoga and meditation coaches, and even a business and fitness coach. Using the skills of a professional can greatly enhance the effectiveness of the treatment as they will be able to identify the methods best suited to your personality and goals.
Weight loss is another area that assists in this mental programming process. Being committed to changing your eating habits and losing weight is as important as following a diet. To follow this diet and to generate motivation, you will automatically imagine yourself living as a slimmer person. Imagining this is a form of mental programming that will increase the likelihood of achieving your goal and reprogramming your mind while at the same time learning the science of the mind.
When you learn to change your own mental programs, you can increase your self-esteem and your confidence. You can also remove limiting beliefs that hold you back and achieve your goals. Mental programming is a very powerful way to transform your mind and your life for the better. Once you really get the science of the mind, life gets a lot easier because you can steer it and that is personal power.
However, going inward and meditate to transform is an inner game, an ability that most people have a hard time doing. For most people, this ability to go inward and to create change comes easy, and for others, it’s an ability that is not so easy. If you find yourself having a hard time reprogramming yourself through mental inward meditation methods and you still want to change your habits and behaviors, then you will have to approach change by your lifestyle.
So in saying that let’s talk about lifestyle and ask “how lifestyle can help with personal change? Again, if the ability of going inward to meditate to change your habits is difficult, then you have to create a certain kind of lifestyle that will force you to change your habits and acquire successful habits that will improve your life. One version is working from the inner you to the outer world and the other version is working from the outer world to change the inner you, either version is fine.
So surrounding yourself with productive, creative, knowledgeable, and optimistic kind of people who are always improving on themselves, the life of their loved ones and their community through world service, and who are truly getting things done creatively and financially, are the kind of people you want to surround yourself with and allow yourself to be influenced by them so that you can grow, expand, and improve who you are as a person and your life.
How Lifestyle Can Help You Over Come Negative Thinking?
To get to the point, when you allow yourself to be influenced by these kinds of people who are willing to help, every day will be a day of learning and developing new habits as you engage with these kinds of people. When their successful habits are displayed each day, and as you practice and mimic what you see, you will slowly acquire those successful habits and reprogram your mind and change your behaviors into successful ones. This is you working from the outer world to change the inner you.
You get to choose who you surround yourself with so why not choose people who will improve your life? Yes, you can’t help all encounters, but you can limit your exposure to the people who don’t enliven you. Find people who have integrity. These are the people that you can trust and that won’t throw others under the bus.
It’s also good to find people who are energetic and who are willing to solve problems. These people are the ones who will advance quickly in their lives. You will recognize them as ones who do not come up with excuses and are always offering suggestions. Attend social events often to find these people. Try to schedule a social event at least once a week. This could be any kind of class, workshop, or seminars, any kind of class that attracts creative productive people.
I say this because you can’t find the right people if you don’t hang out with people in the first place. By getting involved with social events, you will get the exposure you need to meet many people. So, you have permission to go out and hang out, but hangout with good productive intention.
When you have the right people in your life with the right influence, every day is a day where you are exposed to creative development. When this is established, then you have created a lifestyle where ritualistically you fall into this daily growing algorithm where you are growing and changing yourself. Then eventually you want to develop the ability to change yourself just by meditating quietly through mental visualization.

However, I would suggest for you to master both of these abilities, change yourself just by meditating quietly through mental visualization, and using the environment through proper set up of lifestyle to change as well. When you get to this point of development not only you will become a powerful person who can create the life you want, but you will also know that life, is really in your command, and not so much by fate or by chance.
